Explore the wisdom, wit and spirit of the Tao Te Ching, an ancient and timeless guide to living in peace and channeling the natural “flow” – or “the Way.” We will base our overview on Stephen Mitchell’s accessible and well-received translation (free copies for lucky participants!), with time to discuss comparisons and contrasts with Quaker values and viewpoints. Amateur seeker Michael Homans will lead and guide this review, and welcomes contributions from others who have insights or experience with the Tao. Kind of like Quakerism, everyone has a right to their own opinion of what the Tao means and whether it is valid – this forum will be a no judgment zone! THis is scheduled after worship services, typically around 11:30AM by Zoom or in person. See the Zoom link on the home page.
